Meet the Author
Hannah Campbell Zapletal is the owner of WildeWood Farm, Inc. in Cumming, Georgia, a diverse and welcoming farm that has been home to many species of animals since 1996. She holds a B.S. in Biology, graduating Cum Laude, and is a Monty Roberts’ Certified Instructor, as well as an E3A Equine Facilitation–certified professional.
Hannah’s lifelong passion for horses, animals, and people is at the heart of everything she does. Married and the mother of three, Hannah balances farm life with creativity and connection. She writes a daily story – many of which are collected in her first volume, From His Heart to Mine: A Story a Day to Bless Your Life – and finds joy riding her beloved horse, Simon, playing the cello, piano, and ukulele, and helping others whenever she can.
Having traveled the world and speaking three languages, Hannah brings a deep appreciation for people, stories, and shared experiences into both her writing and her life.
When I was a young girl, I struggled terribly with learning how to read and write. My mom made me write a short story a week to help me learn. I hated those assignments with a passion, but I learned. Now, my greatest struggle has become my gift.
