A year of stories: From His Heart to Mine

We are at the end of my first year of daily stories. When it was impressed upon me to write a story every day for a year, I wondered what in the world I would actually use as content.

I had to trust that the Author of all the great stories would impress upon my heart what He wanted me to say every day.

Sometimes stories would jump in front of the ones that I’d already written for that day.

Sometimes, I wouldn’t get a story at all for a couple of days and then the next day I would have to three or four.

Every morning before I post my stories, I pray over them and ask which one does His people need for that particular day?

Then, I get a strong feeling of which one should be post and that’s the one I put out there. Many of you have reached out encouraging comments, like “How did you know that I needed this today?” Or “That’s exactly what I needed to hear.”

I was just acting as a mouthpiece for the stories that needed to be told.

Are we willing to be the voice?

Are we willing to be uncomfortable and vulnerable?

Are we willing to be used to be encouragers, the direction changers, and spokesperson for people?
